Swimming Summer 2017

The garden has been plentiful, the corn grew well and we have tons of tomatoes!!  Thanks to the hose and sprinkler!
Grandpa added a zipline to the cabin pond!  This could be lots of fun in the next couple of years!

There are often a lot of kids swimming and being silly!  Hello cabin pond!

Davis County Fair 2017/ Showing

We went to the Open show in Memphis and both boys showed pigs for other people!
Tucker had enough during the crazy 12 hour day and took a nice nap in the shade tree!
Marshmellow performed ok, but we hoping for reserve!
The 4-H building project a fishing pole holder and it received a blue!
Tayden is helpful and old enough to do lots of things!  He is working on shearing a lamb while the poppa was helping some other family!
Tucker did love Emma and chose to do lots with her!  It will be fun to hopefully watch her become a momma!
The highlight and success was during the sheep show!  Tayden had reserve breeding ewe lamb!!
This is big red, he has been to the fair for 2 years, once as a calf.  Tayden made sure he got to wear the halter we broke him with one more time, the morning of sale day!  He also took a small ride and sat on him.  (tear!)

Turkey Hunting

As the boys get older and each trophy is a better thing to mount on the wall....we are running out of room in the house, basement, rooms, and walls! They both got to shoot a turkey and that was fun!

Baseball

The boys played together on the Cardinals baseball team in Little League!  It was fun and Tayden was a "big" dog with the most experience he also hit his first homerun!!! Tucker had a learning year and the both made all-stars!
Tayden also tried playing on a travel team and they were D.C. Thunder!!

Last Day of 4th and 6th grade

Tayden and Tucker completed the school year and therefore next year we are officially both Middle Schoolers!!  (ahh) where did the little boys go?

Spring 2017- Fishing and Mushroom Hunting

We do enjoy the spring and all things it brings, fishing, mushroom hunting, and baseball!!

The annual Coyote Hunting Banquet was successful and the boys both did a great job showing dogs and also catching those gross and slick pigs!
We spent several evenings and days fishing for fun with cousins, friends, grandparents, and just he 4 of us several times!!

March - Rowan Creath arrived

We are blessed to be called Aunt and Uncle again and the big cousins are totally excited for her to get old enough to play!! Rowan Creath Mathews arrived on March 31!  She was stubborn as far as entering the world, however we are proud of her and do enjoy holding and playing!
