Finally

The official school year of 2009-2010 is over!!!! Yes I am excited and yes there were a few days or weeks we as a staff were afraid the year would never be over!!!!
The Bish family is ready to relax, soak up sun, and enjoy not worrying about going to work EVERY DAY!!!!!

Trip

We visited the Quincy, IL Firestation today!! It is exciting to see the Central Fire Station where the firefighters are paid and fighting fires is their career!!!!

Here is the fun class after we have visited for 1 hour.

Quote from one of the boys, "I am so excited I just can't help it!" That was his comment after he talked the entire time the fireman talked. He was very interested in it and asked questions and answered everything, but it got to be a little much!

After a fun hour at the firestation we tripped over to Bonker's play house. It is a large play gym, but best of all we got along great and the kids were good!!

well....

well yes Tucker is having difficulty with coughing and sleeping today at Denny's! We started out on Sunday with yellow drainage coming out of his ear and we have continued to cough! Why he always is the one sad and sick I don't know, but it truly exhausts me. Cough medicine, allergy medicine, singular, and yes you guessed his magical bumps are worse than what they have been and I can't wait to go to the doctor on the 25th to figure out what they are!!!!!! I tried a home remedy tonight also we will see if it works and if it does I may quit buying medicine and stock up on garlic!!!!! Have a great Thursday and Friday!

Moles

Thanks to Kylie we got some pictures yesturday that aren't everyday mom snapshots!!!

We also had the adventure of Tayden killing two moles!

He was very happy to kill them if you couldn't tell!! He wanted us all to know it also!

The poor child gets it honest!!!!

Rain

As nice as it is to be outside in the sunny nice weather, since it rained I might get something else done. I might get a project accomplished, I might get to bed at a descent hour, I might relax, I might fix a good supper, I might keep the laundry done! ( I was up until 11:30 last night picking up and putting away laundry! Well Happy Friday and yes by the way we have 14 days left!!!!!!!

Just being a mom!

Well as we are late to school some days, taking off days to do thing at DC schools, laundry not done(dryer needs fixed), dishes in the sink, and the evenings are filled with time and fun outside! I would like to announce my new excuse or reason for everything. JUST BEING A MOM!!!!!! Someone once told me, "no your most important job is not teaching, your most important job is being a mom!!!" I can't really remember who it was, but thanks and as we have 17 days left of school I am going to try to do my best and JUST BE A MOM, all summer!!!!!
p.s i think I could even use that excuse at the golf course and at my late night adventure on Saturday. I was just being a mom, with my kids at an aunt's- they love it!!
