More of D.C Fair 2011

We competed in the Tractor Pull on Sunday at 1:00. These tired legs did the best they could. Tayden got 3rd.

Tucker got 2nd and brought home the big trophy of the year!!!

The ever so famous Turtle races were ok, but not great, we passed the winners to Clara our cousin, she did a great job.

Tucker was a little unhappy that is turtle didn't move very fast!

Sheep Show

The boys also showed lambs in the Novice Sheep Show Thursday afternoon. It was hot but they had fun.

Tucker had to have a little help.

Tayden could handle the lamb and did a great job!

D.C Fair 2011

Tayden showed Rambo in the Cattlemens Bucket Bottle Calf show!! He did a good job!

He was hot and sweaty when he got done and Rambo did a great job in the 1st class. They went back in to compete in a tie and Rambo claimed his name. He jumped and jerked is head Tayden had a few tears, but he survived! I think his pride was hurt worse then himself!!

Camper Complete!!!

Well the camper is complete and at the fair!!! I forgot to get last minute photos... sorry! If you are at the D.C Fair check it out, you won't miss it either, bright and on the end!!
We are getting this house around and all of the things for the fair around to get this week started. As many of you know, I am about as excited as the boys, and believe it or not, my husband is just a little excited as well, ... I think!
Hope all is well with the rest of you and we will probably begin our camping tomorrow!!!!

The Bish Family at Fun City 2011!! We had fun and swam 2 days. It was a fun weekend get away and the kids are worn out!

more progress

The inside painting has begun, well the colors are hard to see here, but they are tan.The back sleeping quarters is complete, except bedding.

This is the front dining area!! The green is dark and there are a couple green areas.
The rest is orange or off white!!!

Outside work step 3 out of 4 is competed!!!!!!!!! Yeah

Camper remodeling is on hold until Sunday, this family is going to Fun City for the weekend!!!!!

Priming

Well the small transformation turned into painting it all. The inside primed.

Did you know that I can fit up in the bunk... and sit and paint similar to a pretzel!

The outside step 2 is complete!

I had to prime the outside of the camper, because it was more aluminum than siding, therefore the middle step is complete. I will keep updating as more progress is made!!!

Progress

Just a short note to say that the camper transformation, has turned into a little larger one, and working is in progress. Pictures to come. Priming half done!

Introducing...

1st of all, Canon Guy Smith was born Friday morning! He weighed 8lbs 13 oz and was 20 1/2 in long! the youngest nephew and he makes 10!!!!

2nd of all, the 1978 Crusader is in our yard!!!

The diamond in the rough!!! I felt like a kid in a candystore and a wish had come true!!!

We went and picked it up and I made sure to tell my husband thank you many times, simply because a year ago we had an... Issue with a camper and he wasn't very fond of the idea! Well now we have one and our 1st outing with be the D. C Fair 2011!!!!!!
I am super excited, and there will be a small transformation before we take it next week!

Habits?

We have become fairly... lazy on these summer mornings! Do you think that one of these days we will get up at 6:00 something, will we go to bed before well it is dark 30, will we eat a meal served at the table and not cooked on the grill????
The Bish household has turned summer routine into habit I believe!!! We are enjoying the lazy days of summer, the kids didn't get up until 9:30 ish today, we are doing a lot of swimming.
The projects have been completed, or almost and we are doing things we want to. The things left to do this summer
1. go to Fun City (next weekend)
2. D.C Fair (rambo is getting more ready every day)
3. Bring home our very own camper
4. Go to Emmenice MO to float with family
5. Go school shopping!
6. Play more golf
