 We spent Saturday and Sunday at Rathbun in Moravia at the water park and spent the night in the hotel !!  It was fun and the boys and I had a fun time with several cousins, there are a few short in this picture!

The boys at our house were found by Santa! we had a great Christmas. It was a little work but we made it and enjoyed it all. Tayden s highlight gifts were and  mp 3 player touch ,beanbag,under armor socks and sweatshirt,lots of farm toys and a pillow pet and Hawkeye  fleece blanket,finally another nerf gun!  Tucker s highlights were Bb gun, farm toys, nerf gun, under armor sweatshirt, left handed bow!  We did receive a lot of great things! Well we are busy little elves, but one thing I can't seem to erase out of my mind the last few days is the world tragedy.  I have been asked several times, "As a teacher what is your opinion, or what would you do?"  Honestly I will give you the truth, I respond, " I don't know what I would do that day came, and I can't even imagine!!!"  It is hard enough being responsible for 25 of those innocent 5 and 6 year olds everyday, let alone a horrific experience like that!!  As a Kindergarten teacher and a mother of a current Kindergartener it seems to hit hard this week!!!!  I will do my best as their teacher, I will do my best as a mother..... most days, I will do my best as a wife, daughter and all other roles I play!!



Ok now to the fun!!  We only have 2 and 1/2 days of school left.   Whoo Hooooo!  The Bish's are looking forward to Christmas Vacation- and the sickness at our house tooo!!!!  The boys are excited at home and we are talking about the joy of giving.  Our Christmas's start on Friday evening!   I will post more soon.  Christmas Cards sent, homemade gift in process, wrapping begun, house decorated, scenty replaced, homemade goodies made, and the organizing here we come!!!!  Merry Season to you all!!!!

December 4

Wow it is amazing it is already December 4th.  We have completed the Shunem Seasons year... for now.  I have completed the laundry... or I had it under control when I left on Sunday.   I have attended 2 days of conferences in Des Moines for teachers... some good, others not...  Look out classroom I have some new ideas and fun attention grabbers!  Dr. Jean is amazing.  I have done most of my Christmas shopping and have some things left to make.  I will get there, the next new focus is on getting the Christmas Tree up and the trimmings up inside,   the outside is done.  So Tis the Season and it is a magical time, therefore shew goes the stress and overwhelming tasks.  The Bish's are going to relax enjoy each other and keep up with the daily lives!!!!!!!  How is your December going and what is your favorite Christmas thing???  Mine is ...  the magic of it all.

Happy 8th Birthday

 Happy 8th Birthday Tayden Lee Bish!!  He is an average 2nd grader.  He is thoughtful, wants to please his dad, his height and glory is to go with his dad to hunt, trap, and just do whatever!!  He likes math, likes to hunt, enjoys snuggling with mom and enjoys time outside.  He is struggling a little with reading and paying attention with school!  We love him and it is fun to watch him grow!  Wow 8 years, that mean this mom and dad are old!  He is a lucky boy!

 We had help this year carving Pumpkins - The Taylor's (newlyweds - BLB was in their wedding a month age)-  Josh carved his pumpkin with a steer in it!!!

It is fun this time of year to think of what can be done!!! 

The Hunt is On...

Well for an early Christmas/Birthday Present, my lovly husband bought me a Diamond!  The Edge Diamond Bow and Arrow!!  Yes pretty pink arrows and a pretty pink release, a new whisker biscuit rest and new broad heads!!  All in one it will be remembered Christmas morning because I am pretty sure it is the most expensive thing he has bought me for well...  a while and him and the boys were with me when we shot it and they all said, " Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas"!  With all said I have been in a tree stand 4 times, 3 evening nights and this morning!  Not going to lie it is a little scary to walk in the timber in the dark, but oh well, I can do it! 
I have shot at 2 nice bucks, they have come out early in the night like 5 oclock and they have both been within 10 yards, not sure why I can't hit them, but it is frustrating and I just continue to try!  I didn't get to go tonight, because well, we have 2 small children and they can't stay home by themselves therefore one of us has to stay home and let the other one go!  So maybe tomorrow I will see another buck worth shooting and I will hit it or kill it!!!  The challenge is on, and my husband tells me that is why they call it hunting, not killing!  We all miss he says!

Hmm.... Tucker

Well as some of you close family and friends know, I have changed profession... this week!  I have tossed in the teaching towel and put on my nurses cap, Tucker was very close to being hospitalized on Monday at 12 because his oxygen level was 93 and it is suppose to be 95-100. They allowed us to come home, IF we followed complete directions and returned to the doctors office Tuesday at 2!!!!  I said, "SURE"!  If you didn't know we enjoy our house a lot more than a silly hospital, our own rocking chair, coffee, blankets, food, and well just HOME!!! 
So Monday we left the doctor and got the medicine, yep 3 different ones, thinking that Tucker probably had pnemonia and crap in his lungs because they sounded terrible and he was taking a bunch of breaths and the doctor said his lungs sounded wheezy and yucky!!!  But his ears and throat were OK!!!!  We came home and did nebulizer treatments every 4 hours around the clock = mom getting up 2 times in the night and laying in a twin sized bed!!!!  Oh I forgot to mention when we left the doctors office Tayden threw up in the parking lot, because he had the flu Sat pm- Mon. pm.  (He is better been to school for 2 days)  Tuesday morning Tayden went to school and Tucker and I
home and his fever has been spiking about 9 am and 8 pm.   When we went back to the doctor they did chest x rays and bloodwork, good news no flaring pnemonia in the lungs, and blood work was okay white blood cells were good and no dehydration.  They said he had bacterial acute bronchitis!!!!
I said," So what about school tomorrow, obviously no because he still has a fever in am, and pm."  Bev Oliver the nurse practioner said, " I wouldn't send him back to school all week!!!"  If he goes back he could relapse and be worse!!  Ok enough said, I am staying home.... well I might go to work on Friday if Grandma Suzy will keep him, we will see how fever goes!??!??!
Therefore the vinyl shop is in full swing and we are enjoying some time at home!!!!  Keeping up with medicine and treatments is a small job!!!  Happy Wednesday and we will try to keep you updated!

Project #1

This is the first gift project!!!  I made a mirror tile for a friend with all the baby info.  If you wish to have some vinyl, let me know!  The colors are here and it is very fun!!!!

It's Here!!!

Some of you know, but not all, therefore I will shout it to the world!  The Silhouette Cameo is here at my house ready to be used for VINYL!!!!  I have wanted it for several months and I got the gumtion to order it last week!!!!!  It is here, so I will be back soon with a picture of what it can do!

Tayden's Buck

 Tayden shot a buck last Sunday morning!  Brandon took him, thought he hit it.  Video taped him and then they looked for it for quite  a while and there were several helpers I believe!  They didn't find it and Brandon convinced Tayden he didn't hit him well enough!  Yesterday while the boys were out in the Ranger with Grandpa they found it in the creek!  Tayden spotted it and he was pretty excited so we went and recovered the deer!  He is really nice!!!!  He was a little smelly, but oh well!

Tucker's First Deer

Tucker Ross got to go hunting today like the big dogs, his dad has pumped him up to want to kill a deer!  He went Saturday morning, Tayden went Sat. evening and Tucker went this p.m.  Brandon told him he needed to kill a doe before he tried to kill a buck.  When they left tonight Brandon said he would shoot the gun tonight.

Sleepy

Tucker sometimes goes until he can't go anymore. There are several days he is a little sleepy and the minute your in the car or he gets quiet he is asleep!  Friday afternoon after the stitches he was home with time before Tayden and he fell asleep on the 4 wheeler beside where the bus parks, he was just going to wait on Tayden!Promise I will get some pictures of Tayden up soon, I have beeen on Tucker overload!

So last week Tucker was in the ER and I want to share the pictures and also wanted them for our book we make at the end of the year!

Labor Day

We have had a very relaxing Labor Day weekend.  I had Friday off and Tucker got his stiches out!  We cut down a large dead tree in the front yard and had a few fires.  It is nice to stay home, relax, visit with friends and we went on a 4 wheeler ride on Sunday !  It was a fun time had by all and Tayden really enjoys riding his own 4 wheeler he does a great job and it amazes me how responsible he really is.  Tucker gets to pick who he rides with and he thinks that is super fun too!  We are going to relax and get things around today and be ready for a new work/school week!  The church sermon yesterday was about being fast to get mad therefore that is what I am going to try to work on this week!  Happy 4 day work week!

Stitch

Tucker is also known as "stich" this week.  Last Tuesday I was taking the afternoon off to take him to meet his teacher, visit the chiropractor and get ready for school!  I was just about ready to leave school when I had a phone call from mom, well I silenced it and thought, I will call her later!  I was in the lunch room with lots of kids and adults.  Soon after my sister came to tell me to call mom, she was at Denny's and Tucker had cut his knee and probably needed stitches.  Therefore I called Brandon and asked if he could go assess the situation.  He headed that direction and I headed North.  When I called the doctors office they told me we might as well go to ER the doctors were in meetings and busy!  Therefore I picked up Tucker and we took him to the hospital.  Brandon packed him in and they checked him out, told him he would need stitches and that they were busy.  Tucker proceeded to take a 2 -3 hour nap in the hospital bed and I relaxed, called and canceled all appointments!  Around 3 :30 they came in to stitch him up and we were dismissed!  We quickly went bu the school and saw the teacher then we went home and I didn't golf that night we were spent and ready to be home!!  Therefore we have washed the wound twice daily and new bandages twice a day.  He has done a great job and we get to see about taking them out Friday!  The knee has been a little challenging since they told us not to let him pull them out! When we got home and he wanted to ride his bike we told him no since he can't bend it and he said, " I can't do anything anymore!"  He didn't realize it was only for 10 days.  Therefore he is hoping to get them out Friday and he will match his dad and have a scar on the right knee!!!!  I will try to get pictures uploaded soon!

1st Days of School

 Tayden started 2nd Grade on Tuesday and has had  a pretty good week, a little tired and grumpy, but ok!

 Tucker started Kindergarten on Thursday and was sleepy last night.  He also started with 7 stitches (story to come)

Here are the boys on Thursday morning, new shirts, new shoes, new backpacks, cold lunches!!!!  Ready for a new year!!!

Boy Update

Tayden 2nd Grader - He enjoys hunting, watching hunting, snacking, he has a sweet tooth, he likes to play with older kids, he enjoys drawing and making things.  Tayden and I can have our frustrating days, we can clash very easy and other days we get along great!  He is a pretty soft hearted, caring but he has a temper and sometimes enjoys making his brother scream!!!  Tayden also learned how to make microwave popcorn this summer!!
Overall he does a pretty good job at home helping out and he is growing!!!

Tucker Kindergartener - He enjoys playing with toys, he is big into rodeo things, he doesn't always make it through the night in his own bed he is usually on the couch or in bed with Tayden in the morning.  Tucker and I get along some days and other days he just needs a nap!!!!  He does pretty good unless he is tired or hungry then he is OFF!  Tucker is sometimes caring and knows the correct choice just doesn't always make it. He is full of energy and a true boy!

We love them both and it is amazing how fast this 3 month summer has went!!

Back to School

I go to the mailbox and get my mail and there is the "Class List".  To some people it is just a little group of people put in the same room for 1 year of school, but to to a teacher, IT IS THE NEXT YEAR OF FUN, EXCITEMENT, LEARNING, GROWING and CHALLENGES!!!  Therefore I suppose it is time to go get my classroom ready and some organizing done, so the fall will be successful!  25 kiddos are going to be excited, sad, happy, eager, and ready to learn in 9 short days and ready or not, I will be there!!!!  with a smile, .... and positive attitude,..... and we have a new playground.  Won't that be fun!!!

Fun Day Sunday

 After pictures and visiting on Sunday we went to a family fun area with go carts, bumper boats, trampolines, and bumper cars, the kids had fun!

 Tayden was not a big fan of the trampoline!  He was scared !

 Tucker was okay as long as he didn't go toooo high!!! He was a little scared too.

Craig Family Reunion

 The boys played with several cousins!  There were 92 Craigs at the reunion and they said that is the most so far to attend a reunion.

 Grandma Chuck was the oldest original there and those are the kiddos with her!

 This is the 4th generation and there are a lot of little ones.!!  Blonde hair must be dominant too!

 The originals are in the chairs with their spouses behind them.  Left to right, Hershel, Marilyn, Marquetta, Margaret, Martha (Chuck), and Lois is a spouse of deceased Harold.  There were 9 originals Homer is very ill and couldn't make it and Hayden and Herbert are deceased also, but their families were all represented!
