Final Hooray!

 The Huggins extended family went to the Ramada in Des Moines for a family Christmas!  It is fun, lots of kids and to go to a hotel, swim, play and get away is always fun!   Here are some of the kiddos!

 The 4 originals, the 5th didn't make it this year!  She lives the farthest away too!  Mom's siblings, mom, Donnie, Mary and on the right is Julie!

The boys loved swimming and the could swim alone, so mom didn't have to get in the water!  What a fun time!  We attended Bass Pro Shops on Sunday before we came home, and the boys were almost more excited about that!!!! 

Christmas Day

 Christmas morning at the Bish's!  Santa was here and the reindeer even at the reindeer food we left outside in the yard!   Santa brought mom a necklace and new pots and pans, dad a new under armor sweatshirt and cologne!  Along with other goods!

 Santa brought Tucker a sled, Mountain Dew, and a stuffed puppy!  He wanted mountain dew and a puppy!  He also got a remote control helicopter and clothes!

 Tayden received a sled, basketball hoop for his room and Pepsi!  He also got a remote control monster truck and clothes!

 We then attended Grandma and Grandpa Utts and we all buy for 10 kids, we adult kids exchange gifts and Grandma still buys 3 gift for all, therefore with 20 people and that many gifts! whoooo there was a bunch of gifts.  We got fiesta ware, chainsaw chains, Duck dynasty trucks, remote control bumper cars, and lots of stuff!!!

 After brunch, we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Bish's!  We got a Ninja blender, a truck, (thanks for Gerald), pistols, tic tac toe boards and other goods!!

We were home around 8 with a house full of boxes, new things, and enjoyment from the day! I enjoyed my last birthday in the 20's also, thanks for all the things!  

As Christmas can be so overwhelming we did have a relaxing week with lots of quality time, BLB was off work too!

Christmas Eve

Grandma Chuck holds Christmas Eve. She has always had Christmas Eve and we were all there this year!  All 38 of us I believe , in her house, and everyone had a frosted sugar cookie!! 

 We were stacked and we did have a good time!

 We started out our Christmas celebrations last Saturday with Grandma Nikki's Christmas!

 Yeah he is excited!

 We got to see and visit Grandma and Grandpa Creath!!!

 Remote control robot was the last gift, also got a tablet, sweatshirts, toys, and a lot of things!!!

Tayden topped his off with a dozen traps, a tablet, clothes, hunting stuff, and a lot of things!!!!

Happy Birthday

Yes my birthday truly is today! Just a quick stop by to say! Thanks for the wishes, gidts and time spent with all the family today!  I am a lucky lady to have so much support and lets hope another year goes as swell as the past!

Merry Christmas Time!

It is beginning to look, smell, and feel a lot like Christmas!  With only 10 days left until the big day we are wrapping, baking, sledding, playing in snow, cleaning, and well just enjoying the things involved with Christmas! 

Church this morning was also about not making first impressions tell you about someone, and it doesn't matter what is on the outside the inside is what matters!  It is my challenge this week to see the good in all and not judge!  Enjoy the season and ALL the excitement!  (it will multiply daily in my life the next 5 days!)  kindergarten- hmmmm

It Snowed!

 So it snowed and we had a great time!  The boys played and sledded and we played in it all day!

Yes I am thankful for all things large and small and the world would be a perfect world if everyone had a perfect life, but I will say working in the public school system allows us to know that we are not all perfect, (Bish's included).  Therefore we are thankful for all lives and families!

Happy 9th Birthday Tayden Lee Bish!  He is a fun, energetic boy who loves to hunt, trap and spend every minute with his dad!  He aims to please most everyone (except mom)!  I cannot believe how fast he is growing and he is trying very hard to figure things out in life and realize what can, and can't happen along with what he should do !  School is a weakness, but we will continue to work on it as challenging as it is for us ALL!  We do love you Tayden and hope you have a great birthday weekend!

Halloween Costume/ Adult

We attended Card Club/Halloween Party!  My husband and I made an great "pair"!!! 
It was a fun night and we enjoyed it!!  It will be a hard costume to live up to next year, but we will try!  We do enjoy card club throughout the winter with 7 other couples!!

 Tayden shot his button buck 2 Saturdays ago and loved every minute!

Tucket killed a 6 pt buck on Wednesday eveming and is a proud boy!

Hunting

Well youth season in Iowa is well on its way and the oldest son,who is a great shot and right handed killed a button buck last Saturday and all was well.  The youngest, who shoots left handed and isn't such a great shot has shot at several,but we never find them!   The impatient daddy bear is continuing to take him but getting (sigh) a little impatient!  We are hoping this week he gets deer!

Fox Hunt Pictures

 We had a great time on Labor day at the Unionville Fox Hunt.  It was hot and we were glad we had air conditioning!!!!

 We rode the ranger to track dogs and listen to hunters.

 The boys had the camera and mom was telling them to give it back to me.  Yes I was counting.  1...2..3 and guess what., they captured the moment.

 Syrus and the boys played most of the weekend.

Some time to just play....  It was fun and it will probably become a tradition!

Fall/Autumn

Wow it is fall/autumn and we are in full swing of all fall things!!!!  We are enjoying the evenings of nice weather and jeans and sweatshirts!  The boys are enjoying school for the most part, reading and homework.... well not sure!  But they don't mind going everyday and their teachers say they are trying hard which is a bonus!!! We have began Iowa Youth Deer season so they are spending so time with their father in the deer blind and mom gets to go on occasion!  We or I am amazed at how fast time is flying by, why do we continue to cram as much as possible in everyday, then turn around and do it again the next day!  We are best around here if we go day to day!  
I am totally enjoying my class of 13 kindergarteners.  They are pretty good kids and they are oh so nice to be able to count them all in one setting!   Masters's class well....  it is fine, but it makes for a llooonnnggg  Wednesday!  While Tucker loves school, Tayden loves dirt and outside. 
*It never stops amazing me at how each stage is a different challenge in parenting!!!! 
How is fall going for you?  Apple/pumpkins/leaves!!  We love each season in IOWA!!!!!

Fox Hunt

During Labor Day we camped 4 nights and enjoyed some new company.  We attended the Unionville Fox Hunt in Unionville, IA.  It was fun, we camped, listened to dogs, ate, enjoyed hunting conversations and friends we don't see all that often.  It was fun and it will probably become a yearly event.  Tayden and Tucker thought all of the dogs were awesome.  Brandon thought all of the people were awesome, and Lori thought camping for 4 days was awesome!  Therefore we were mostly happy and the kiddos had several kids to play with and ride bikes!  I will post pictures when I find them!!!

Iowa State Fair-

The Iowa State Fair was an Utt original- Family tradition.  I don't think I missed but one from age 4-18, then I got married and well.... it isn't always a tradition!  Well this summer we attended and we made the most of it.  We rode the 3 only rides(that the utts were allowed to ride) Ye Ole Mill, Big Slide, and the Sky lift!!!  We ate and drank lemonades and enjoyed the horse show and the hypnotist!! The boys ziplined and did about anything they thought they needed too!!!

 We camped 2 nights and visited the fair 3 times!!  Thanks for allowing us to use the camper Ma and Pa!

Sleepover

 Sometime in August the Utt nuts stayed at our house!!!  We got along great and the kiddos played well!!!  It was fun and hope to do it again!  Pancakes and sausage were a hit for breakfast!

 Tucker and Hayden really enjoy each other, they are friends, cousins, and buddies!!!

Updates

We are in the swing of things, we go to bed on time... for the most part.
We camped Labor day weekend for 4 nights, had a blast, enjoyed company, stayed up late, got up early, took naps, rode the ranger, scored hound dogs and spent some quality family time that We NEEDED!   Brandon has been helping another farmer, good since he has been laid off, but not getting home until past dark means the boys don' t see him and they get grouchy!   I have some entertaining pictures, but I love camping and so do kiddos!  We are pretty well in the swing of school, and back to a daily routine!  
We have also been picking garden goods and finishing them up.  We have another hound puppy and man they are cute when they are puppies. 
I will try to get pictures up soon, but wanted to update you all on our last few weeks.

First Day of School 2013-2014

Wow we are growing !!!  The first day of school, a big 3rd grader and a 1st grader!!!!  They are excited and ready for school and what they are expected to do!  Yes the routine is great, but man I could more efficient if we had school from 9:30-4:30 instead of 8:30-3:30!!!
This mom here (that is a teacher too)  is feeling like a part timer!!!!  I only have 13 kindergarteners!! WOW it is awesome and we are only on day 2!!!!

We hope the enthusiasm about school continues all year long!!!!
