July 30th

Oh my well the end of July is here!! That means that I need to begin to think (well maybe) about the start of my 4th school year as a teacher. 3 of those 4 years has been in Kindergarten and yes I love my job, however that also means seeing the alarm clock at 5:30 and getting 2 small children to the babysitter by 7:00 am. That in itself can be a small challenge, however it also means a little more routine and organization!!!
Along with beginning another school year for me, Tayden Bish is mighty excited to begin the very 1st year of school as he will be starting KINDERGARTEN!!!! He will be riding the bus everyday, learning everyday and having to be a responsible 5 year old everyday. I think he will be able to handle it, but I also believe bed time will be easier as he will be worn out when he gets home!!
I hope the beginning of school is as exciting to the rest of you as it is to us, we only have to purchase new folders and hopefully some new school clothes and we will be set!!

Papa's Cabin

We enjoy swimming in the pond at Grandpas Cabin!!

Tucker enjoys sitting on the bridge and eating snacks.

Tayden has become fish-like. He hasn't ever really swam, but with a little lesson from Briley and Mom and one afternoon in the water with a life jacket, HE IS A CHAMP and truly loves cannon balls.

While I finished mowing the boys had a picnic at Papa's Cabin.

We enjoy going to the cabin for numerous things and it is only 3 minutes from home!!!
Thanks Papa Gary!

Puzzles

Puzzles are fun to put together with the boys they get puzzles for numerous occasion, because I enjoy them and so do they. We have been putting together lots since it has been RAINING everyday. Well the 25-50 piece puzzles are not much trouble, however they decided to try a dolphin puzzle with 500 pieces and I am about to accomplish it, it has been a challenge due to the fact that all of the pieces are blue- water, sky and dolphins, but with only a few pieces left I think I can master the age 10 puzzle all in 5 days!!!!

38 ??

38 Special- Yes I didn't know who 38 Special was until July 20, 2010 and now I can officially say I have been to their concert!! It was fun, thanks to the girls from school, I didn't really get to sing along with the songs, but that didn't matter we had a great time!! The Nemo Fair hosted the summer get together of a few teacher friends on Tuesday night to celebrate a few of the girls that are having big birthdays in the near future!! It was fun and we should try to do it again next year.

Pictures...

There was a animal show at the fair, similar to a circus. The boys thought it was fun to watch.

Tayden the all american turtle racer, however the turtle wasn't all that fast, he got 3rd.

Tucker and Tayden enjoyed the rides on Friday night. Tayden got to go with the older cousins, therefore I didn't get many pictures of him.

The elephant ride was great fun also. The boys are the 2nd and 3rd.

Yes the derby car was also a hit and the end to the fair.

The fair is over and the weeks (not many left) are going to be filled with picking up the house, getting things ready for school, swimming, napping and I am personally going to try to get the boys quilts finished!!!
YES WE ARE STILL ENJOYING SUMMER!!

Happy Birthday Grandma Suzy

My mom has a birthday today and since I am not sure how many I won't include that number!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!!

Today is also the first day of the fair, so this fair going extended family is going to have a birthday party at the fair tonight, if only the rain would go away it would be great!!!! We are excited to go to the fair, see people, eat fair food and just relax with anybody and everybody- However we are also in the process of building derby car- yes I know some of you are not shocked and some might be thinking my husband has lost his mind, well I agree!!!! It is in our yard and it has taken lots of help from the pit crew, and yes the pit crew is ... ME!!!! I think it started after lots of other help last night and it is beginning to look like a derby car!!
I hope my husband can get it completed for Sunday and still go to the fair some and enjoy the boys and their excitement!!! Have a great rainy week!

I took 3 kids to the Library for story hour the month of June. Yes 2 of mine and a 4 year old niece, Clara. Well Tuesday the 29th was the end of Story hour celebration, so the kids got to play in the water and in many other games.

Culee even got to stay even though she is just 2!

They had a pretty good time, they played for 2 hours then they ate pizza and juice boxes. Aunt Lori even decided we would spend the afternoon at the City Pool, yes me and 2, 3, 4, and 5 year old!!!

Snack break!!

The girls thought it was fun, and I will say, they were all very good!!
