Coupons???

Well, we got out of school early today!!! What other job does your boss walk up to you and say out at 1:00 today!! Hip, hip, hooray!!!! --- I do have a great job, even though it was the 100th Day of School!!!!

When I got home, I did a few things, then the phone rang! A lady who I talk to often, says, "I just watched a show, a lady bought $600 of grocery, and other things and only ended up paying $3 something!!! She used coupons, how does she do that?

I replied, "I don't know, but my new year resolution to do better with groceries, and only goes 2 times a month is very intrigued!!!!!
I am going to have to look into this, it may take a bigger city, more mail, more magazines, who knows, but I will be looking into it, to help maybe!!!

What is your opinion with the coupons? Do you clip? Do you shop in a large town? Do you get lots of magazines? What is the secret, or is it just time, effort and will power???? Let me know!

Update from the Bish's
- Brandon -working and hunting and doing all the things he loves to do- by the way the new t.v in the bedroom has improved bedtime for the adults and Brandon has not slept on the couch or in his chair- all night since the 1st of January!!!!!!
-Lori- working - well part time since we have had 3 snow days, 1 sick day (Tayden), 1 day of conference in K'ville! -- dieting- eating and excersing, laundry, dishes- being mom, and wife!!!
-Tayden- had a spout of strep throat, but is better, eating better, acting better, learning to read words through pictures and sounds!!! Growing, becoming more independent!!! He can make a PB and J sandwich, get his own kool-aid or milk!! He doesn't fall far from the tree- he acts and has the same mannerisms as his father, but he snacks and eats like his mother!!!!
-Tucker- actually has been pretty normal-(knock on wood), he is growing up, beginning to learn more school like things, he is a big helper for me and he also is trying to help himself to. On Sunday night he got into a little trouble, had to go to bed early, well he got up in the middle of the night and got himself some yogurt, he also got his cars and put them in his bed to play with, but I don't know when he got up and he was sound asleep in his bed when I went to bed and when I got up!!!!

We are doing well- enjoying the routine this week! The boys are sleeping much better in their big bed all night. Mom and Dad are sleeping earlier with the new T.V in our room!!!

A slightly new look!

We re-arranged the living room!! All we really do is swap the loveseat and couch. I also received new curtains!!! Thanks Debbie! The little boy on the couch was also the 1 who had strep throat and spent about 3 days not feeling well! But we are better.

The big bed in the bedroom!

They really like it and do I have to say they are going to bed easier. A parenting question for those of you with children.

Is it okay to let them watch t.v. at night when it is bedtime, or not???? Let me know your opinion!

Snow

Hmm... what do you think they will do.

Tucker fell without his previously soaked gloves on and thought it was cold. He was hustling to his mommy!

Well the boys are on the outside and a friend Syrus is in the middle. They are 3 almost 4, 5, and 6! They are a little dangerous, but I will take 4, 5, 6 over 14, 15, and 16!!!

We coyote hunted Sunday with Brandon and after lunch we had some cousins hunting with their dad also!! Clara and Cullee got to see dead coyote # 2!!

Work

Well, after we had a short week last week, a meeting on Friday and snow day on Monday! I am back to work on Tuesday!! It is fun to see the kids learning and to see how much they have missed me, (or at least I think they did).
We are hoping for somewhat of a scheduled week after the last few weeks have been little crazy, but I am not going to lie- I LOVE SNOW/ICE DAYS!!!!!!

Coming soon- pictures from yesturday, we rearranged the living room, the boys got a bigger boy bed-full size and they will sleep together!!!!! There room looks like a boy room and a big boy room, since we got rid of the two twin beds that reminded me of an orphanage!!!

White Coyote

My husband the avid coyote hunter killed a white coyote on Saturday January 15th.

He is very proud of his white coyote and I think it will be stuffed and live in this house!!!
On Sunday all of us went hunting, we made it until about 3:30!! It was fun and thanks Grandpa Dickie for taking the boys for a couple of hours!!! I do enjoy coyote hunting in the snow, and in the action, where you see the coyote and see 2 dead. One of these days we will have baby lambs and we don't want hungry coyotes around our farm!!

Big Buck

Yesturday was the last day of late muzzleloader season, and Brandon had a tag, so he left a little early from work to see if he could fill his tag. He ended up with a nice 10 pointer!!! Way to go Daddy!!!

Oh, well, umm...

Well my trusty driver this morning was driving slow watching the road and we were slowly cruising to work, since it snowed a few inches in the night. I was taking pictures of things out the window, big barns, snow covered trees, and the snow in general! All of the sudden I hear, Oh *#!^! I look up to find a dark green durango type vehicle, out of control in front of us, spinning this way, spinning that way. ("good news, we were stopped!"). The vehicle then begins spin toward the ditch, it continues to gain speed as it is going toward the ditch, it enters the ditch back bumper first, spinning at one point the back end came off the ground and I thought for sure it was going to roll, but it didn't the dark green spinning machine stayed on all 4 tires. Then the amazing part came, he busted off a road sign slicker than snot. Off went he mirror, down went the sign, then slowly the suv came to a stop. (i think do we ask if he is okay)nope, we didn't have time, because the suv started out of the ditch, it had to be a man, he was driving out. He didn't make it the first time, so he backed up and tried again. After many spinning tires, and the urge not to give up, he drove up out the ditch and we proceeded in traffic!! It was amazing yet shocking!!
I will tell you we then proceeded to slow down even more and were a little late to school.

Gearing Up...

We are gearing up at our house again. We have been on go, go, go and enjoyed the last 2 nights at home, watching T.V, eating supper, playing the Wii (thanks gma and gpa Bish). We then had an unplanned day off on Monday, Great Grandma Gooden may rest in peace, she had a wonderful life for 90 years!!! Then we needed a few more days to rest, at least this momma did after she worked 2 whole days!!!
We are gearing up to spend Friday night in a hotel at Honeycreek resort, and they also have an indoor water park. The Huggins Christmas is Saturday night, Sunday, but the Bish Boys are to be at another Christmas at 5:00 Saturday with the Creaths. Therefore, we are going Friday Night to stay and swim!!! Thanks Gma Suzy and Papa Gary!!!!!! We will get to see some of the Huggins crew before we head out on Saturday!!!!

2011

We are looking for a pretty uneventful 2011, similar to our 2010! It is really okay with me to continue the daily... home, work, kids, cars, and routine. As I wrote the 2010 letter for Christmas cards I realized that we were beginning to get older, because we had a pretty uneventful year and things just continue, we both have the same job, we haven't moved, the kids are just 1 year older, starting school, and we have the same hobbies.

I am okay with knowing we are in a routine in this stage of our life!!!

Since 2010 was uneventful, it however could use some improvements, therefore here are The Bish Boys (or their moms) New Year Resolutions!

* Improve Bedtime - bath, brush teeth, bed, books, restful sleep in their own beds
* Less Snacks - it amazes me that they really do eat well when they are hungry
* Manners- we could brush up on the average manners
*Noise- the boys could improve their noise level (it is usually loud)

For their mom
1. Improve this figure
2. Relax more
3. Enjoy the moment instead of thinking of the next moment
4. Only go to the grocery/DG store twice a month!!!

For their Dad
1. Improve bed time (he enjoys watching T.V late)
2. Quite smoking
I could probably keep going, however that is all for now!!!
