Goals and HONESTY

Back to the short term goals this family or I made for February!
They were
1. Remove all dyed products from our house and buy no more. I did buy natural pb and lower sugar jelly also white velveeta.- still working on it and doing a pretty good job
2. Make it through Valentines Day!!!! -- not much if any candy!- trash can was full the 15th of Feb.
3. Keep each shopping trip limited to only natural things!!!! - yes, we haven't bought boxed rice, macaroni- okay soo... we bought cherrios and life cereal - the kids thought it was a huge treat.
4. Find the natural deo, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and dish soap- well  , not so much but I did buy it without aluminum in it!
5. Continue to use Ma Ingles laundry soap, fabric softner, and Leslies soap.- thanks ma
6. Start the feingold diet, and stick to it. We should notice a difference in 2 weeks. I think this weekend may be the beginning. - we are doing a pretty good job, except school lunches and a few extra treats!
I will have to send lunch and snack with Tucker everyday!!!! - i will have to get up even earlier!!
7. Continue to see Dr. Rich and take the supplements- yes and since the first time since Oct. we get to go back in 2 weeks, not 1 :)
8. Enjoy life and let these boys be boys- sometimes!!!!- the boys have had a hard two weeks, in trouble at home for chasing sheep in school shoes and no coats and in trouble on the bus... - not such a good couple weeks for them!!!

Well I am going to be quiet honest with you all.  I am not seeing any major changes in Tucker!!!!  In fact he has been almost worst the last 2 weeks!!! I am not giving up on all of THIS!!!! I am just going to back the truck up and we are going to find the happy medium with eating, living and discipline - YEP and when it is that easy I will write a book and retire from teaching!!!!!

Another honest point!!! - I have been tired, a little grouchy, fighting a headache, and YUCK ! Time to pull up my big girl panties and move on!!!!  Life is what I make of it!

With March around the corner next week I will be working on March goals!

I will try to live by that!!!
Hope you are all having a great new year!! March is only 1 week away!!!

Love - The Wild Thing

I do love our camper!  We don't go a lot!  My husband isn't a huge fan, but we did stay the whole week of the D.C Fair and we will stay in it again this summer!!!  I think our first outing will be the first weekend in May when we have a coyote hunting banquet at the fair grounds!  two years ago we used our in laws camper, last year I drove the RV and this year, I will pull the Wild Thing to town, park it sleep in it and pull it home!!!  I can pull it with confidence, especially if my dear husband hooks it on and checks it for me!!!!!!
The camper has been a large undertaking for this family and a huge- HUGE - argument (remember the 1 I lost)  -thanks libby!!- just kidding
"WE have to laugh now!"  - by the ways sis, that takes the cake in our book to make.

I do enjoy camping, with my family, the boys like camping, we enjoyed preparing it to camp and we will look forward to camping this summer!

Comfort Zone

I love my comfort zone, my happy place, where I feel at home.  It is my home, or the barn, or the salebarn, coveralls, stocking hat, boots, coffee and being with animals and my family.  A few Saturdays ago I was asked to go shopping for the day, but I couldn't make myself do it, instead we got up on Saturday morning got dressed, drank coffee, and we headed to the salebarn.  That was my comfort zone.  After school, driving home, I sometimes just want to be HOME- that is my comfort zone.  I love my comfort zone and at work my comfort zone is my colorful, crazy, loud room of 20 + Kindergartners!!!!!

Love # 3

Today I am thankful and love the extended family!!  They choose ME!!  Well they might not have but their son did!!!  They are a great family to be adopted by.  We enjoy spending time at Gpas garage, Gma Lisa is the best "sucker" to a "I am hungry!"  Uncle Bradly is gone to college so the most exciting part is when his car is in the driveway!!  We are greatful to have them close to us, they are great help, encouragement, support and entertainment.  We love you!

The extended family we are blessed to have 2 sides and once again,   they choose me, or her son did!!!!
We enjoy time spent with them, when they are around the kids are excitable.  They are great help in the barn, the first to call when I need recipes, "mom's didn't taste like that!" and the first to call when I need help cleaning!! We also enjoyed a summer trip to Branson with just adults and we made it!!!  We love you and thanks for your help, gifts, phone calls and time with us!!!

Who would have ever thought you could be just as at "home"  in all these houses??  In-laws are just additions to a great family!!!

Love # 4

The little boy at our house that gets most of the attention good or bad.  He isn't really the healthiest child, but he defiantly isn't the sickest child too.  We can handle mild allergies and asthma!!  The 2nd born is a very happy boy.  He likes to please, wants to be liked and reacts well to positive reinforcement.  He is active and energetic, loving, and snugly.  He still sets on my lap at bedtime and wants to be snuggled with!  We do enjoy his attitude even though some days it is a little much or a little sassy.  You can definitely tell when he is excited, sad, happy, or bothered. He is strong willed and bull headed when it is set his way he doesn't budge much!!!  He is also very curious and asks a bunch of questions!
The challenges he has we can get past.  He will be 5 in March and boy oh boy is he growing up!  We love you Tucker Ross!

Love # 5

The love of the oldest, I expect the most, he is 7.  Bug, tator tot, bingo - he has a few nick names and we love them all!  Daddy is the apple of his eye.  He just wants to hunt, and be outside.  He needs a break when he gets home from school and he is pretty responsible.  He thinks about things, listens, loves animals and tries to make good choices.  His heart is the size of Texas, he thinks of others and tries to make other happy.  The newest things he enjoys is building farms with toys and making hay tunnels in the barn.  He is a very good helper!  We do love Tayden Lee Bish - the first grader and he is learning to read !!!!  BIG TIME
He sleeps in his bed, gets up on time, eats well, loves life, and is a joy to us all!

7 days

The six original!! The 3 lovely siblings and ma and pa. We enjoy time spent together and just Saturday I was invited to a trip with girls to shop, and I rejected. My comfort zone was to go to the salebarn with my family. Yes coveralls, poop, smells, cold, rain, stocking caps, shit kickers, and animals. I am not sure why that is my comfort zone, but I think maybe it is because as a small girl that is what we did!!!
Thanks for the help, hour phone calls on Sunday (LJS), entertainment just because (LRU,) daily chat in our commute to our common job (LKL) and mom and dad thanks for all the continued support, encouragement, and strength!!!
I do love my family!!

I will see if I can come up with a love a day from now till Valentines, in a week!!!

Sunday School

I am teaching Sunday school for the month of February! In our lovely little cozy Troy United Methodist Church we do Sunday school for the little people while the sermon is being presented upstairs!! (the sunday school teacher misses sermon) I do enjoy teaching Sunday school and I will try to teach 4 important lessons in February! Today we learned John 3:16- Some of the children knew the verse other worked on it a little and meantime, we sang Jesus Loves Me, painted red hearts with our hands, and cut out the verse. Next week we will complete our Valentine and deliver it to our parents!! (awesome lesson, but i am a little biased!)
I also read a story of Valentine! It is amazing to me, because as an adult I didn't know the reason for Valentines, but I got a book a few years ago for the boys and it tells it in a kid friendly way. Valentine was a man who tried to keep men and women from getting married. The others didn't agree so they sent him to jail. The kids and people were sad so they sent him card and letters!! That is why February 14 is about love and sending cards!!!!!

I am sure BJL got it!!!--- hey at least 1 out of the 12 did and average age is ummmm 4 or 5!

Happy Valentines Month and we will work on our love for others!!!!!!
