Pretty...

Well last week we were in town for a ballgame. Yes it was one of the nights that it was stormy and the tornado sirens went off, so we headed to Brandon's aunt Kim's house in Bloomfield, with Grandma Nikki. Aunt Kim's house is also were Nebel's Studio has a bunch of their picture taking props!! Therefore the Bish Boys had a few more photo shoots, just for fun.

Tucker thought it was fun and it really didn't even bother him.

We had to really pump up Tayden to get him dressed, he was a little embarrased, which is normal for him.

And now you know where they get it. Their dad was the biggest duck in the puddle and he had his very own photo shoot. The boys thought it was very fun to get all of the things put around him and he was enjoying it also. I think it could be great blackmail someday!

H*O*T*!!!!!!!

Once upon a time a little girl said to her dad, "Dad it is hot outside!"
Dad replied, "Get on your jeans and shirt with tennis shoes and follow me!"
Little girl thought oh no, now what!
Later that day the small girl used a large scoop shovel to clean the corn out of the grain bin.
End of story- little girl never again told her dad it was hot outside.

I have a had a little rekindling of that story this last week. -by the way, I was the little girl!

Well this week has been hot outside and we at this house are fortunate enough to have NO central air!! We have central air, but it hasn't worked properly for about 2 weeks!!! Yes it has been warm, sweat on your face is just normal, along with boys in only their underwear and mommy in some not so good looking tanks and shorts. We have survived and I will have to go out on a limb and say last night must have been the worst!! It was still 83 degrees in the house this morning, so not much cooling. On the good side, the repair men, all 3 of them are on lunch break as I speak, they have been working this morning on putting in a NEW FURNACE AND CENTRAL AIR UNIT!!!!!
This hot mom and boys that are sweating are going outside under the tree!!!!

Mini-Phoot Shoot

We had a mini shoot before church last week and they behaved pretty well.

Well they were pretty well behaved, but I guess Tucker didn't think he needed a kiss!

Water slide

The boys are in their trunks and swinging away!!

They wanted to get out the slip n slide. I told them just to get their trunks on and find some water, so they did, in the ditch.

They could run the length of the ditch and splash water every step!

Tayden mastered the running and sliding right before the big water hole!!!

This is an example of what every part of their bodies looked like at bath time last night!! They were DIRTY!!! The best part was they had fun and the trunks came clean in the washer!

Summer

This little boy got to go with his Dad last Saturday to a bow shoot!! Yes he has his own bow and I believe he even hit an animal!! He was very excited even though they came home soaked!
Brandon and a buddy do a coyote hunt in the winter and then we have a banquet in May and the boys both got to show a dog!! I think we came home with 3 trophies.

Tucker played T-ball and for any of you that know this understand how much excitement it really was, this is the inning he got to be the catcher!!!

R A I N

Yes it is raining again. I am beginning to wonder if my garden will ever be dry enough to till again. Last night I sent the little boy who like mud (both of my boys) out to pick an onion and sure enough Tayden came back with two muddy onions, I guess the good news it that they are not rotting!!
The other reason rain is not my favorite, yep you guessed, it makes it very hard to golf. I think I have only golfed 1 time in the last week and that is not very normal for us!!! I hope next week I get to go a little more, however next week is also my week to teach summer school, and I can't wait!!!! Well I guess it is time to brave the rain and head to church!!!

Ears lowered

My dad has always said, "No I didn't get my hair cut, I just got my ears lowered! Well today the Bish boys and their mother have officially lowered their ears!! We were in desperate need of haircuts and so therefore today we accomplished the goal. Aunt Rhonda rocks or at least she puts up with us in cutting our hair!!! Thanks Aunt Rhonda!!! She has tried to get Tayden to say Aunt Rhonda rocks since he was able to talk and he can do it and used to lots. Aunt Rhonda is actually Brandon's Aunt for any of you that didn't know!
Also the Garage Sale is in full swing and going pretty well for being in the country!!!

Tuesday

Well we are suppose to be golfing today in the Ladies Invitational in Bloomfield, however with the rain it is postponed. I am going to spend the day preparing for a garage sale. We tried to have a garage sale about 4 years ago and it didn't go to well, so I am going to try to contribute my things to a garage sale this weekend and if it doesn't go very well I am going to pack it to Memphis to a co-workers garage sale in July, and if that doesn't go very well, IT IS GOING TO THE CLOTHES CLOSET OR GOOD WILL!!!!! --- make a long story short the tubs that are packed, aren't coming back!!!!!!
I have spent a few days getting things out marking them and putting them back, we have a lot of things for boys 0-3, toys, underwear, socks, hats, clothes you name it we have it!! Also I am going to try to clean out other departments (hunting gear) and trash what isn't being used, we have lived here 3 years and if it hasn't been used since we moved, then it doesn't have the right to stay!!!!
The basement is going to be hauled over and hopefully my closet also!!!
Enough on that!!
I know you haven't seen any up to date pictures of our summer fun. We have been playing golf and going to ballgames. Tayden is doing better at ball and we think his favorite thing might be Junior Golf!! I left my camera cord at school and will get it this week, hang tight I will have ball pictures some time. Also we are enjoying out SUMMER!!!!!! Hope you are too

C A N S

Well yes I have been overtaken by pop cans the last 24 hours. Yesturday morning my dad stopped to visit. We were chatting away and we got on the subject of a project that started last Friday that has not yet been touched again(that story later). He is going to have to take some time and help me- long story short!!!! He also said man those cans at the cabin are overtaking. Lori replies ," I will take them to Ottumwa Friday when I take Tucker to the doctor. Dad states, "Well I don't know that I have ever got the check from the last time. Lori, "well let me see what I can do, I will ask the can store uptown for bags and see if we can count them at the cabin and sort them there then transport them back to town." Gary, "OK".
So Tucker and I (Tayden had the last day of Preschool) head to town to do some errands and we stop and get some bags.
Wednesday Brandon golfs mens league, Lori and the boys will go sort cans at the cabin, WELL
10 bags later we are done and it is 9:oo pm. Yes I did take supper and the Lough girls came to help. I was tired, smelly, and sticky. This morning dad and I loaded up 2 trucks and took them to town
End result= $162.60!!

I guess the hard work last night paid off!!!

I do love...

I do love waking up when I want to!
I do love not having to shower directly after waking up!
I do love to hear the voice of "mom do we get to stay home today?" and when I say yes, they say"Good"
I do love to send my husband to work and think I have hours until he comes home.
I do love the freedom of summer!!!!!!
I do love not having to deal with 25 5 year olds, just one!
I do love thinking I don't have to work tomorrow!!!

The summer is just beginning and I am loving it!!!!!
